One of the finest hats in our collection, the El Presidente is made from premium 100X fur felt. A shining example of the legendary craftsmanship Stetson is known for, this incredibly high-quality piece features classic cattleman hat styling, with a tall crown and 4” wide brim. Made in the U.S.A., the El Presidente has a soft, satin-lined crown and comfortable 2” leather sweatband — on the outside, a self-felt hatband dyed the same distinctive hue as the body of the hat is set apart by a three-piece buckle set made of solid 10-karat gold. Part of Stetson’s Premier Collection, this hat exudes a quiet confidence and rugged fortitude that sets it apart from the crowd. Comes with heavy duty hat case.

    ONE FINE HAT!

    I have several older Stetson El Presidente hats, which I absolutely love! However, the 'Gold Edition' is something different and extra special. It has a very nice tooled leather sweatband inside with a 4-5/8" crown instead of the usual 5" crown like on the older El Presidente's. I prefer a lower 4-5/8" crown hat for everyday wear, and the taller 5" crown with a blazer or sport coat. The staff at Casa Raul is also AWESOME to work with! The lady taking my order took the time to send me pictures of the exact hat I was purchasing before shipping it to ensure I knew exactly what I was getting. That's just good business. I will be back!

    El Presidente Gold Edition

    Statement piece; such a handsome hat. Luxuriously soft 100x, and the tooled leather sweatband is like chrome under a car’s hood. I much prefer the Gold Edition’s buckle to that on the standard El Presidente - a distinctive upgrade. In fact, everything about this lid is impressive. Incidentally, I dealt with Jenna in Casa Raul’s online customer service. She was very helpful - an asset to the business.
